2nd Industrial Surveillance Day

2AVSS is the prominent IEEE conference series on video and signal-based surveillance. AVSS provides an international platform of discussion for research, industry, end users and governmental institutions sharing interest in various forms of surveillance.

Additionally to main conference or workshops, we encourage companies, research institutions to demonstrate their products and/or research project prototypes to a broader scientific audience.

The program will offer a joint demo/poster session, together with presentations on ongoing national or international research projects, where project representatives will be given the opportunity to discuss technical challenges, application fields of end users and future trends with outstanding experts from the field. Chief Technology Officers, leading engineers, and future end users are the target audience.

The program will offer the following opportunities to you:

  • Company Showcases: Companies are invited to demonstrate their products or prototypes to a broader scientific audience.
  • Project Showcases: Consortia are encouraged to present recently funded, or already running, projects (national as well as international level, e.g. EU-projects) and their results (demos, prototypes) to the whole community in order to foster publicity and awareness in the surveillance community and to encourage future collaboration.
  • Ph.D. Forum: Ph.D. scientists are encouraged to present their work to company and lead user representatives, and to discuss their on-going research with experts from all over the world.
